The studio
Understand what matters. Build around it.
Every project starts with a particular situation: a service to create, a journey to simplify or information that is hard to find. Blaze brings those needs into a clear product brief, with explained technical choices and a scope everyone can assess.
Understand the work before defining the scope
Before drawing a screen, we need to understand the people who will use it: what they need to find, what they are entitled to decide and what must remain confidential. A client meeting, a dossier review and a task in the field each call for a different response.
The brief makes that understanding concrete: priority journeys, required information, responsibilities and acceptance criteria. It also identifies dependencies, access requirements and questions that remain open.
An experience that holds together
A button label, the presentation of a document and the way a form handles an error are parts of the same product. Interface design and the design of the underlying behavior need to develop together.
Hosting, data processing and operational arrangements must be defined for each project. The chosen providers and responsibilities belong in its documentation; a security intention needs supporting verification.
Design principles
Make the work clear
Show what is known, what is missing and what the next action will change. The interface should help someone understand the situation.
Keep people in control
Define permissions and review responsibilities. An AI proposal must be open to examination, correction or rejection by the responsible person.
Prepare for what comes next
Include documentation, access handover and operating arrangements in the scope so the product can continue to develop.
How the work takes shape
Understand
Describe the task, constraints and people involved. Distinguish established facts from assumptions that still need testing.
Make it tangible
Show priority journeys in a prototype and define acceptance criteria before building their underlying behavior.
Build and examine
Present usable versions, exercise the journeys and record what needs correction. Give each stage an explicit scope.
Hand over and develop
Arrange onboarding, documentation and access. Agree the ongoing responsibilities, support scope and potential next steps.
What would you like to make simpler?
A client journey, an internal tool, a document task: tell us about the context and the change you want to make. That first conversation helps define the work ahead.
